I genuinely can’t believe this works. My husband is half black and so even his beard hair is super curly. But he also has a lot of dry irritated skin issues, particularly his beard area. I try to get him to shave so he can really moisturize the skin but he doesn’t want to shave. But when you put anything in curly hair it is WAY harder to get it to get through th beard to his skin. So i went looking for beard stuff to help, found beard straighteners and was like yah okay, I guess we can try it. Had some gift card $ so i was like why not. H0LY CR@P i can’t believe it actually works. It was CRAZY watching this imense curly tangled mess just become straight. The only reason my husband even tried it was caue he didn’t really believe it either. Well we were both stunned. No chemical just heat. and boom, suddenly straight. Plus, my hubby pointed out it has a usb port, get this, SO YOU CAN CHARGE YOUR PHONE OFF OF THE DEVICE!! WHAAAA??!?!? too cool, esp it your traveling. also fyi it looks like and is about the size of a tv remote. so thats cool.seriously, kinda impressed.

This hardly takes up any space in my luggage and love that it’s cordless. On a full charge, I was able to use it for a full weekend. I don’t have a beard but is great for long or short hair. I used this on my daughter who has full, thick hair and this worked great without giving her frizzies. Didn’t burn the ends of her hair or even mine. Was able to get the straight hair we were looking for without giving our hair a crimped look. Plus it helps brush out those little knots that got past our brush.

I ordered this for my husband. He doesn’t have a full beard, but a long goatee that gets wild and out of control. He was really impressed with this straightener. The temperature goes up to 200°c and for him, 150° was hot enough to straighten his. It heated up pretty quickly and with 3 passes through his goatee, the hair was soft, shiny, and straight! Highly recommend!

This little thing actually works really well. Just need to use slow strokes through your beard. I only use mine at 180 and just use it while I am driving to work. When you start to burn yourself, just have a look and see how many of the little red tips have fallen off. I can still use it but, just barely. Have to be really careful to not burn the crap out of myself. Once those tips start falling out, it can burn you easily. At first it was great though.After a brief discussion with the customer service department at INVJOY, my concerns were noted and addressed. They sent me a replacement unit and it seems to be functioning as it should be so far. I understand that there can sometimes be manufacturing deficiencies and/or issues. Good customer service can make up for any of that. I did fee like they offered good customer service and I needed to amend my review to reflect that. I would buy from this company again in the future with no hesitation.

I do not usually do reviews but just a quick note, this thing is awesome. I have a shorter beard right now and am growing it out. All guys know there is a point usually in a beard that it gets a little “squirrelly” during the short to longer transition. It makes you want to cut it off and say the heck with it. I bought this one even though it was more expensive and it heats up fast and it really does tame the hairs down quite nicely. I can’t wait to use it when the beard gets longer. I love the fact that it is portable with no cord. Highly recommended
